Leticia’s academic journey started with a B.A. in Economics from Universidade Candido Mendes in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. She moved to New York City in the late 1990s and graduated from the French Culinary Institute.

When her kids were young, she returned to school to study Journalism and pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an author.

Enthusiastically delving into food journalism, she became an award-winning author of 3 cookbooks and wrote hundreds of captivating food essays for renowned magazines and publications.

This passion for food essays turned into a passion for college essays, which proved instrumental when assisting her children in their college applications.

Seeking a deeper understanding of college admissions strategies beyond the essay chapter, she pursued a Certificate in College Counseling at UCLA, helping her children secure acceptance at top institutions.

Overwhelmed by the transformative power of education, Leticia was inspired to further her learning journey. With absolute determination, she applied and was accepted into the MBA program at Cornell University.

Disappointed with the salty tuition costs, she explored alternative options, ultimately gaining acceptance into two master's programs: The New School in New York City and Fairfield University - where she completed her master's degree in communication and now serves as Professor of Communication.

Driven by the earnest desire to empower others through education, Leticia founded Greenwich College Prep, a college advising agency dedicated to guiding students and families to navigate the college application process.
